We loaded the truck up with towels, snacks, and friends and headed out for our first boat trip of the 2012!! I am so excited it is already this time of year as the Sprenkel family LOVES summer. We asked our neighbors to come along (Pat, Carson and Andrew) and off to the lake we headed. Like always we had to make our stop at Casey's to get some dinner and drinks. After getting the boat into the water, a cruising we were!
Leilani loved it. I was a little nervous as she was in her car seat last summer on the boat but she loves wearing her life jacket so that is a stress relief right there. Maya picked up where she had last year and went straight to the front of the boat and claimed that once again as "her spot". We rode around for a little bit and then headed to the beach to relax for a little bit. The kids got out and played and the adults just hung out. Overall it was a great time first boat trip.
On Saturday, we decided we needed some more boat time but this time it was just our family going. Once again we loaded up the truck, stopped at Casey's for gas and food and headed to the lake. After a quick ride we parked at the beach and the girls were ready to play...but we didn't have any sand toys. Instead they played in the water and loved trying to bury our feet. Another great trip on the boat! Can't wait for the rest of the summer :)
