I ran a 5K!

Yep you read that right and I can now mark the 5K off my bucket list. The Color Run came to Des Moines a couple weeks ago and four of my friends and I participated. The Color Run is exactly like it sounds. Each "K" you get showered with colored powder and then at the finish line there is a color party. Every participant is given an extra color packet and at the same time everyone releases them - resulting in a pretty cool color show. Overall, I didn't become a runner, but would definitely sign up again. :)
