Surgery, meetings, and more potty training

Another eventful week in the Sprenkel household. Lets start with the surgery. Kodi tore his ACL in his left hind leg (yes he did do his right hind leg in March 09) and had surgery on Tuesday. They called around noon and said the surgery went well and that he was doing great....he was on a continuous morphine drip. He had to stay overnight and I will be picking him up over my lunch hour today. Our life for the next 12-15 weeks we will totally tailored to his needs. For the first two weeks, he will be confined to his kennel all hours of the day and night, except when we are carrying him outside on a leash to go to the bathroom. Then the next two weeks he is given a little more freedom and so on. He will sleep down stairs in the living room, again in his kennel, and will cry unless either Scott or myself sleep next to him on the couch....so Scott will be taking most nights and I will do one here or there.

Meetings - Scott has had a few business meetings for some potential opportunities that have shared with him. I cant really say much on here as you never know who is reading, but I can say....please keep your fingers crossed it all comes together. If so, Scott will once again be working and doing what he truly loves.

Potty training update - Maya continues to stay dry all day at home and at daycare. She will go to the bathroom all by herself and is so proud when she is done. We are still working on the pooping issue (she wont go in the potty) however we are also not pushing it too hard as we still want her to go. In her own time she will decide she can use the toilet.

That's all for now... :)
