Busy busy weekends

Last weekend was quite the adventure for the Sprenkel Three. It started on Friday night when Scott's mom came for a visit. She arrived around 6:30 and then we headed to dinner at Ruby Tuesdays. Boy is the food good there :) We had a nice dinner, caught up on the past couple months of our lives and then it was time to head home. Saturday morning we had breakfast and then our adventure began. We jumped in the car and headed to Iowa City to meet Niki, Ajdin, Mom, and Paul for lunch. We watched the Iowa vs. Ohio State game (IOWA WON AGAIN) and then headed to the mall to do some damage. I think Niki did the best, however, we all ended up with a little something. By this time it was early afternoon so we decided it was time to head back home. Later that evening, we joined our neighbors (the Whites) for a season ending fire pit that was so nice. It was freezing outside but so warm near the fire.

Sunday we headed to church and then off to the pumpkin patch. It was 65 degrees so needless to say, we were not the only family at the pumpkin patch. It was fun even though Maya wasn't really in the mood. She only wanted to swing on the "horsey" swing. Before we left Grandma purchased a "horsey" swing for Maya - boy is she going to be excited on Christmas morning. But who is going to push her if there is 2 feet of snow on the ground?? :)

This will be another busy weekend for us as tonight we have a Halloween party for Maya, tomorrow we will be participating in the Race for the Cure (along with the other 24,000+ people that have registered) and then Scott and some of the boys in the neighborhood are playing paint ball tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully the weather is nice for tomorrow as the past couple days of constant rain, wind and cold temps are getting old.

Hope everything is well with everyone and I promise to add many new pictures soon :)
