We have needed to replace the boards on our deck for sometime, however, it never really sounded like that fun of a project. After Leilani got a couple of splinters we decided it really was time. Off to Home Depot we went and came home with some shiny new boards. After Scott successfully removed the old boards (with no damage to our house or himself) it was time to install the new boards. Maya wanted to help, so what is a daddy to do but teach his 5 year old daugher how to use power tools.

She was so proud of herself and actually helped for a long time. Leilani and I on the other hand were not much help! We sat at the back door and offered some drinks when needed....but really just played. La thought it was fun to show me her funny and cheesy face :)
Overall, the project was a success and we love the new deck!
