Today we took our annual trip to Howell's Pumpkin Patch. Unlike two years ago when there was snow on the ground, today was a beautiful day and we planned to take full advantage of it. This time of year is so beautiful with the leaves changing and the mums in full bloom.
Maya wanted to ride the ponies(like always) and had a great time. What was even more special is the nice gentleman working came over and Leilani got to take her first pony ride as well. We fed the goats, played on the tractors and daddy even shot the corn cannon. And he hit the nose of the pumpkin on the silo! Way to go DAD! And of course we had to ride the tractor swing made out of tires :)
After we picked out our pumpkins it was time for a warshing (I mean washing). Leilani and Maya were the experts and had lots of fun scrubby the 20+ pumpkins we got.
Overall, we had a great time and will of course be going back next year.
HAPPY FALL FROM THE SPRENKEL'S!
