Saturday was a gorgeous day and we couldnt pass up the beautiful weather so we took the boat to Saylorville and had a good time. We didnt get out there till around 2 so the "beach" was very crowded but we were still able to squeeze in between two boats. Maya played in the sand but didnt want much to do with the water as it is still freezing. We headed back home around 4 as Scott wasnt feeling well but still we had a great time.
After we got home from the lake, Maya played with the neighbor kids while we sat and had a few drinks. It was so nice to just sit, kick back and watch the kids play. Maya is getting closer to being able to keep up with the big kids, but they all adore her and are so helpful - she just loves it.
After the kids were done playing and swimming in the kiddie pool, it was time to come inside and get dried off as we had friends coming over to BBQ. Jordan & Ronnie arrived and we had a great time playing some beer pong and then we had a fire pit. We had some trouble getting the fire going (as there were no fire starters and the wood sits outside) but we got it going and it was a perfect way to unwind from a crazy but fun day!
