Our family could use all the extra prayers possible right now. On Monday night my uncle was admitted to the University of Iowa hospital for a mass above his right eye. The doctors were not 100% sure what the mass was but yesterday after a 6 hour surgery we learned it is in fact a brain tumor. He woke up from surgery well and was able to tell the doctors his name, move his fingers and toes, & grasp at the doctors hands so those are all good signs. We wont know for sure till later next week if the tumor was cancerous, however, all indications currently are pointing to yes. Please pray for strength for the family during this difficult time. There is a long road ahead, but we are all optimistic he will pull through and in no time he will be back to his ornery self.
