Well the title says it all - all three of us have been doing lots of housework this weekend due to the weather being HORRIBLE!!! Yesterday it was 92 and very humid all day, so we didn't go outside till around 6pm. That is when we decided we just had to go on the boat - so Scott, Maya and myself went and anchored for an hour and then came back. It was actually quite nice on the water and we had a very relaxing trip.
Today it was about the same temp outside, however, random thunderstorms kept firing off so we never knew how long it was actually going to be clear. Therefore, we did housework. We switched our office and guest room around upstairs, cleaned carpets, put away some clothes that Maya no longer fits into, washed sheets/comforter and anything more than that I have now forgotten. Maya's favorite activity while we are trapped inside is to take all her stuffed animals and put them to bed all over her floor. Each animal has its own blanket so needless to say, there has been lots of picking up animals/blankets this weekend. One of her favorite blankets is her princess blanket we got when she got her new bedding. Here is a few pictures of her playing with her blanket this weekend...
I will be traveling for work this week (Monday-late Wed) and it is going to be so weird to not be home. I don't ever sleep well when Scott is not next to me, let alone in another state. Luckily it is a short trip and Maya and me will be traveling to CA soon so we have that to look forward too. She will get some daddy/Maya time this week and then next week mommy/Maya :)
