Again this weekend the weather was perfect so on Saturday night we asked our neighbors (Matt, Kim, Lexie, Jason and Cameron) if they wanted to join us on the boat on Sunday and of course they said yes!! They have been wanting to go for awhile and it all finally worked out. Maya and Niki played in the car, while Scott & I got everything ready. Maya now says "cheese" when you want to take a picture of her so all her expressions are the same - silly girl.
The lake wasn't took crowded, however, everyone at the beach decided to space out horribly so we didn't get a very good spot - but we found where we could squeeze in so that was good. The kids swam, played in the sand and just had a great time. We took out lunch, snacks and of course some drinks and all were able to relax some while enjoying the beautiful weather.
Jason, Lexie, Matt and Scott all went tubing and had a blast. I drove Scott and after being a little nervous I was going to do something wrong (not sure what but anything) I got the hang of it and he has no lasting injuries today. The kids both went together and separately and screamed with joy the whole time. We asked Maya & Cameron if they wanted to go but they said no they were too little :)
All in all, we again had a great weekend at the lake and hope we will be able to go out again soon. Maya had such a fun day that not even 5 minutes into our drive home she was sound asleep (with the cheetos she had in her hand all day)! My tired baby girl!!! A little side note, please say a prayer for the Willis family as Josh's dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and has a long battle ahead but hopefully will make a full recovery.
