Day 7 - Today I am thankful for quietness in regards to political commercials on both the radio and TV. I don't know how many times I heard yesterday "I am Mitt Romney or Barack Obama and I am running for President". Being in a battleground state has it perks but also its major drawbacks. Political ads have consumed our lives over the past month and it was so nice driving to work today and not hearing ANY!! The election didn't turn out as I had hoped, but hopefully the country can make a turn for the best in the years to come. All political differences aside, I am happy the election is over and we can all move on now.
